The Full Story

Book Reviews 4 U (BR4U) was born out of a deep love for books—and an even deeper respect for the people who make and promote them. In partnership with eBookBuilders, a veteran in publishing pre-production and design since 2011, BR4U is on a mission to connect authors with the review and promotional support they need to truly shine.

Each year, we compile and publish the Book Promotion Directory—an ever-evolving resource that includes book bloggers, promotional companies, blog tour organizers, marketers, publicists, author-centric podcasts, advance readers (Alpha, Beta, & ARC), awards programs, and literary assistants (AAs, PAs, and VAs). This massive undertaking results in a professionally formatted directory available in both print and ebook formats through major retailers.

In 2024, we expanded our services and launched the BR4U CREW—a curated team of trusted reviewers ready to read and review ARCs, new releases, and even backlist titles still aiming for the coveted 50-review milestone. We offer Review Facilitation Services for authors and publishers, helping get books into the right hands and guiding each project from selection to review submission with professionalism and care.

Behind it all is Deena Rae, founder of eBookBuilders and a fierce advocate for indie authors. With more than two decades of experience in publishing and design, she brings a unique mix of creative precision and operational grit. After an 18-month hiatus to battle and beat Stage 3 cancer, she returned with even more fire in her belly and clarity of purpose. BR4U is not just a business—it’s a passion project powered by community, resilience, and the belief that every good book deserves a fair shot at being discovered.
